- gloss Tuḥfa-yi Shāhjahānī تحفه شاهجهانی — Mawlawī Ilāhī Bakhsh al-Ḥanafī al-Fayḍābādī إلهي بخش الفيض آبادي
Details and sources
A full gloss on al-Yazdī’s commentary, printed with Ilāhī Bakhsh’s ‘logical parsing’ (ḥall-i tarkīb-i manṭiqī) of the commentary, modelled on grammatical parsing (al-Turkmānī). Compare the Persian Hadiyya-yi Shāhjahāniyya on al-Mirqāt, which Nuzhat al-khawāṭir attributes to Ilāhī Bakhsh al-Fayḍābādī (see the al-Mirqāt catalogue). One Persian source gives Tuḥfa Shāhjāniyya as a name of al-Yazdī’s commentary itself, probably a confusion.

Details and sources
Mixed commentary of middle length on the logic part, written after studying (al-Taftāzānī’s) commentary on the Shamsiyya; the preface names an ʿAbd al-Laṭīf Khān; the author explains that the Tahdhīb contains most questions of the Shamsiyya and that students are confused by its brevity (Kashf). Incipit inna aḥaqqa mā yatazayyanu bi-nashrihi manṭiqu l-qāṣṣ wa-l-ḥāḍir. Region inferred from the nisba (Khabīṣ, a town in Kirman), not stated in the sources consulted; the identity of the ʿAbd al-Laṭīf Khān of the preface is not settled. Standard in Egypt, with Azhar glosses.
