كَشْفُ الحَقَائِقِ فِي تَحْرِيرِ الدَّقَائِقِ

Kashf al-ḥaqāʾiq

al-Abharī · d. 663/1265

Al-Abharī's most voluminous work, covering logic, metaphysics and physics in that unusual order (his Hidāyat al-ḥikma follows the order of Ibn Sīnā's Ishārāt: logic, physics, metaphysics); a copy dated 663/1264 is in the Süleymaniye Library (Ayasofya 2453). Its logic part is a full and independent treatment by one of the leading logicians of the thirteenth century. It is now available in a critical edition with a Turkish translation, which makes it one of the few large post-Avicennan logic texts a student can read in print.
