Ḥāshiya ʿalā Sharḥ al-Shamsiyya

Al-Jurjānī's gloss on Quṭb al-Dīn al-Rāzī's commentary on the Shamsiyya. Al-Jurjānī had gone to Herat to read the Shamsiyya and the Maṭāliʿ with Quṭb al-Dīn himself, and his glosses came to be valued more highly than the texts they explain. This gloss in turn was glossed by Mullā ʿAlī al-ʿAjamī, al-Fanārī, Qara Dāwūd, al-Siyālkūtī and others, and al-Dawānī's gloss on the Quṭbī engages with it. It is part of the standard 'stack' — matn, sharḥ and ḥāshiya — in which the Shamsiyya was studied.
