جَامِعُ الدَّقَائِقِ فِي كَشْفِ الحَقَائِقِ

Jāmiʿ al-daqāʾiq

al-Kātibī · d. 675/1277

Al-Kātibī's advanced work on logic and metaphysics, written after 1265; its logic part is much longer than the Shamsiyya. It argues out in full what the Shamsiyya only states, for instance how limiting the subjects of 'essentialist' propositions to self-consistent items blocks a proof of al-Khūnajī's. Al-Taftāzānī drew on it in his commentary on the Shamsiyya. It is still unpublished (one copy: Süleymaniye, Carullah 1351), but it is the place to look for the reasons behind the Shamsiyya's doctrines.
